Here is some basic information about Room 4, and our class. Room 4, like all classes at Tinwald have a tree name. Our tree name is Tawa and we are often referred as this.
We are a class of 20. We have 10 boys and 10 girls in the class . We recently welcomed Arthur. Tawa is one of five classes that make up the Hutt (Junior) Syndicate. We will often join together for activities, events and learning time with other classes in our syndicate. Hope you are having a fun year !! Mrs Hopwood :) |
Our school is working on an idea called PB4L which stands for POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR FOR LEARNING. One thing we hope to improve at school is our behaviour expectations. These values are all things that a positive learner will know, have and use to help them through life.
They are RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY AND HONESTY. Each week there is a focus for GOTCHA rewards and House tokens for other positives noted by any teacher.
When each child achieves a known target with GOTCHA's they receive rewards including a postcard posted home to acknowledge such.
